My boss lives there too. He's 29 year old alcoholic chief mate. Has a 30ft boat we trolled out in and looked at the superyachts. Ft lauderdale and possibly tampa or orlando are the only places really worth a shit in Florida.

Pensacola is nice summertime but the people are generally fucking retarded. Pretty sure that goes all over the state except lauderdale in some aspects.

I got a buddy who is ex army. Older cat, 30s. He uses tinder around ft lauderdale, that would be a good way to check some girl out and just do something. Its one of those bigger urban areas where there alot of young people and plenty to do. Could easily ring a social call date that doesn't have to mean shit and hang. Most of what they're looking for anyways.

Oh yeah, they've got a hookah club there, water taxis, boardwalk restaurants, yachts everywhere. Like, huge ones. An infamous strip club.

Its really cool, I'm mostly in school around 6-8 hours and not over the weekend but some courses go through it. So you'd have to plan ahead on what to do.

There are a shitload of Yachtys there too. Thats mainly the brunt of who goes to the school we frequent. They're really cool and there are some gigantic fucking superyachts there that look like floating spaceships. I saw either the Mac or Microsoft one a couple years back. It was awesome. Had a Fast rescue boat class and got to learn how to do like a stunt pivot turn, personel transfer going 35+ mph with two boats tied together, and a search pattern to find a coconut.

My boss knows a couple of yachtys and we'd like to do it but we're too crude and I look/act like a gang member most of the time and industrial work is more like; fuck it up and get it done. Over keeping a bleach white fiberglassed vessel pristine all the time and wearing fancy white suits.

He's really funny. Had to get his appendix removed at short notice from the gulf of mexico right before transit to actual mexico and if he didn't he would've probably died. Got so bored being stuck at home he went and helped his yachty buddy fix some superwealthy gay couples yacht and when the owner met him he said, "hey did I hire you and not know about it?" and my boss was like, "nope". And when the gay dude found out he had not fully recovered from appendicitus he freaked out. Tried to pay my boss for helping and he was like "nah, fuckit."

I'm probably gonna go in later march or april sometime. I've got a couple different classes I have to take and one of them could be fast rescue. If I HAVE to take that again then I could probably go out later and get shitfaced because its just steering a high velocity dingy and not trying to crash course learn college academy level material. Which is actually alot easier still drunk.

You're an architect right? I'd look into transferring close to the keys or Ft. Lauderdale. FTL is like the southern version of seattle with less techy people. There are probably more wealthy people there but they're alot more progressive. And there are ALOT of gorgeous young women around there. Went to five guys and saw three rihannas one time. Couldn't even eat. Freaked the fuck out.

Didn't potentially have the money until recently but I probably could at some point within the next year for a couple days or for training too. They've got a big school there with the same kind of classes and I thought that seattle was pretty sweet.

Last time I went that fake weed shit was legal and I was still smoking it, a stripper at the hustler club stole my packet no hands. Got to see spoon live because my bud was a ranger, got one of those really cool gerber military issue rebar knife things, the market/street thing was awesome and that was the first bottomless club I'd ever been to.

It was a very impersonal experience though. Those girls are ruthless business ladies.

I've just got off a medical leave too because I found out I have a rare form of hypomania that makes me have a racing flow of thought, take dangerous risk seeking behavior, and have a surplus of physical energy combined with ridiculous limitation of need for sleep. Its like the "high" version of bi-polar disorder that has been permanent and never goes away.

I thought I had like ADHD and PTSD. Self medicated for YEARS thinking I was just like that and then asked a Dr. when I was having stomach problems that probably occured because of work related anxiety.

So I literally sat on my ass for six months hyper and confused all the time because I could not work and had to consult a psychiatrist that gave me meds that didn't work because I got superbrain and then had to not see her and not take anything to get back.

The dangerous risk seeking behavior is mild though. I will like, try to fight incredibly rude people or race in my car on the highway when thats not a smart thing to do. Its acceptable at work because when I climb on really high shit or go and do the work of three people or workout/joke with people its theraputic. Society is alot different and most people think that I am on drugs when I'm not. I'm in the process of seeing a private Dr. and procuring maybe Xanax or something I can take when I'm off so I don't get in trouble.
 
So I'm basically trying to handle that and then get my training and maybe get my debt paid and I might start hopping around different places to decide where else I'd like to live. Thinking portland or puerto rico.

FTL is prolly your best bet. The keys is very pretty, very good fishing and watersport but is redneck prone I've heard. Miami is like a huge rich people area. Like douche bag plastic rich people. I dunno about innercity and stuff. FTL is like a good balance of both with young people.

You might like pcola too. It is entirely surrounded by backwater hillbillies but pensacola itself and the beach area has alot of nice resturaunts, different people, and very pretty women. Its also extremely cheap compared to those other areas. Its not the most progressive of places but has hipsters there, young people, cool retirees sometimes. And all around it there is alot of building planning and building going on so it might be easy to get a lucrative job if the one you have isn't worth it or the area sucks too much.
