It is called BLEACH, because Ichigo's natural hair colour is orange, and that is usually the clour it turns when people dye their hair with bleach.
And, every anime has to have a LOL SPECIAL person there.
THAT IS WHAT THEY CALL A MAIN CHARACTER.

1. Because it's stupid.
2. It doesn't come out a nice even shade of anime orange like ichigo's hair.
3. Because i'm fairly sure that bleach burns your scalp aswell.

I still can't belive I missed that connection with the show's name. (I'm thuroughly embarrased)
Makes me love the show even more, since it's solid proof the show doesn't take itself seriously that I can explain to other people who have never even heard of it!
