Hard to say, Pein is a bit of a weird character, kind of like an end boss that seems out of place right now. Next chapter we should know more about him unless they want to drag us along a bit more.

Yeah, pretty much this. You guys get a little overboard with the spoilers sometimes...
Anyways, I'm glad the focus shifts back from Sasuke/Tobi to Konoha. It'd be interesting to see what the frogs tell Naruto now that Jiraiya's dead. Do you think he'll get any new abilities from the frogs (since he's the "chosen one"-kinda lame...) Or what about that seal and message Jiraiya sent before he died? The manga's getting fairly interesting. Still getting over the Sasuke/Akatsuki Alliance though.

Gravity's a myth...and so are broken bones and hospitals...

I think that Naruto is going to go with the frogs and train on the frog mountain and learn to use the key or whatever it is. I have a feeling it has something to do with the light/dark shit which was briefly mentioned during Naruto's previous training and given all the focus on Naruto using his own strength, I doubt it's something to do with using Kyuubi's power. Rather, I think the key is something to let Kyuubi's chakra mix with Naruto's own more freely and giving Naruto more control over Kyuubi so that he can use his own chakra/power more freely without Kyuubi's presence making it harder for him (like explained in part 1). Naruto's going to be out of the picture for a while and I think it would be nice not seeing Naruto's training and when he returns, he should be a lot stronger.

Other than that, I have no idea what's going to happen. I doubt that focus on Sasuke is over yet though, and they probably won't attack Konoha just yet.

Most likely, Naruto will go off to train with the toads after this along with his key, preumably to master the 4th's seal on the Kyuubi and learn some of Jiraiya's toad techniques (would help him a bit since his current fighting style consists of easy-to-counter moves on one hand and then suicidal kinjutsu on the other). He is plain terrible next to Sasuke right now, and thats without him unlocking the Mangekyou. There is also the matter of the unknown powerup he got from Itachi, but I don't think this will appear until later, probably in a fight with Sasuke himself.

As for Madara being the Mizukage, Pein would have known as Madara said to Kisame he was the last to know.

It feels like we're starting a new arc now, which I predict will be - Naruto going to the toads, Akatsuki preparing to attack Konoha, and Sakura/Kakashi and co will somehow get involved with the last Jinchuuriki, which is also Sasuke's target.

it only took like 4 months of worthless shit (I've only seen small glimpses but from those alone I know the fillers were absolute garbage) to get back to the barely any better canon. Again.

I really just dont care about this at all anymore.

I'm happy the fillers have ended (though they weren't that bad at all), although were going to be seeing what I consider the weakest story arc in Naruto (longer than it should've been).

Anyway, I like the shippuuden- Naruto is a great series although it does have a few flaws in my opinion. The manga is heating up.

Man, this week's episode was seriously fantastic. The first half was a bit slow but still good but man, the second half is like, one of the best Naruto episodes easily. I'm also really glad that Shippuuden is getting a lot of good new music, the new battle tracks rock and I really liked that new Akatsuki theme.

The new manga chapter was really good too. I'm really surprised that they have introduced like 10 new characters because I was expecting this series to end after a climax at Konoha. Now there's a 3 man team from the Lightning village or whatever, plus the 8 tails seems to be a main character.

I bet most of the new characters aren't really all that important, whole part 2 has mostly focused on the main cast and I'm pretty sure it's gonna stay that way. 8-Tails is probably more important though and I think he's going to have a bigger role in the story, possibly teaching Naruto some Bijuu control so he can master the key or whatever it is. I definitely agree with you on this week's chapter though, it was great, especially the Konoha part. The manga is starting to get fresh again after like a year (or more?) of mostly Sasuke. I'm not complaining though, the previous arc was one of the best.
