I'm thinking about doing Nanowrimo. Besides one or two small bits of story, I don't really have any experience writing fiction. I figured once November rolls around I can keep a log of my journeys on attempting to write a novel.

Is anyone else out there interested in participating? Would love any tips or perhaps links to things that you've written for inspiration.

honestly I don't really write that often besides for purposes of communication. so writing for fun is kind of a nice feeling.

i don't know where this story is going. maybe I should write an ending first? I wrote an introduction to the characters, the setting, and some important information on the antagonist and an issue that the protagonists are going to have to face.

2000 words so far.

I got up to about 3000 words but ended up distracted with OTHER THINGS. Hopefully I can dedicate some time to work on it this week.

best thing I can write is song titles. I read but I don't write. Well I shouldn't say that, I write a dream diary, but it's basically just recording what happened in a very dry way

Writing good fiction stuff is hard for me. I'm not really planning out a story, it's more free form and I'm just writing whatever comes to the top of my head. but yeah you do come up with some good song titles.
