I'm sure they wouldn't have a killer 7 character - it just doesn't fit, and not in a Snake way.

20 bucks they fuck up everything that made competitive SSBM actually interesting

If they end up using the Wii-mote they will! But if their plans stay on track for using the GCN controller then we should be fine!

Yeah exactly. I'd be pretty pissed if I saw Dan Smith or someone in that SSBB. I'm more interested in getting Takada's and Fukuda's music OH PLEASE LET THEM DO SEVERAL SONGS.

I hear Phoenix Wright is in this and his special move is objection and when you use it everyone goes to jail (once a character has gone to jail you cannot use this character in any future games, life sentence)

edit: I'll put the question to high-up nintendo officials I happen to know.

edit2: Rumour confirmed.

edit3: FAL CONE PARNCH!!!!!!!!

edit4: I actually wrote this as one post, didn't edit shit.

Well, according to the Wikipedia entry, it's most likely a joke about the NES.  It IS an anagram for SNES, but considering it was the Super Famicom in Japan and he was still called Ness, that's not as likely.

Well, it COULD be both jokes at the same time.

Man, why can't it just use the classic controller? I don't want wires nor do I want to drop another £20 on ANOTHER controller (wavebird yay inefficient wireless)

I personally hate wireless because you never know when your batteries are going to die on you. How much would it suck if they died right in the middle of a battle?

I think it would suck a lot more if someone tripped over a wire in my now wire-unfriendly game room and smashed the Wii to bits.

But maybe that's just me.

Maybe I just imagined this, I can't remember, but I thought the Wii warns you when your Remote's batteries are low?  I thought this happened to me while playing Twilight Princess, but I honestly don't remember.

Oh really? I never knew. If that's the case then I guess I'll have to take back my hate against wireless controllers.

The WaveBird was wireless done right, imo.

It really was; even so, it was still kind of buggy. I had a lot of problems with having to unplug the reciever and plugging it back in to get the controller to work.

It most definitely does.

Anyway yeah this controller thing is pretty lame. I don't think I'd mind using the Wii controller+chuck if they made the controls OK. I'm sure I'd get used to it.
Even if they went with Wii controller on its side, or the classic controller attachment. Hmph.

Guess I'd better get another cheap GC controller.

I missed the Gamecube boat, so I'm just now getting to play Gamecube games, and I picked up a Wavebird.  I love that damn thing--first wireless controller (aside from the Wiimote that is) that I've ever liked using.

Dude, you need to play a console made in the 21st century.  Wireless controllers are amazing!

Holy shit, turns out you can run and jump with the super scope (while firing!) in Brawl.  I don't know how they're going to make a sequel to Brawl because everything will already be perfect (don't fuck with perfection)!

They will find a way tho

Phoenix Wright as a playable character would be enough for me to buy a Wii and go nuts.

OBJECTION!!! *SMACK*
Yeah that'd be tops.

We also need some more pokemon, but DECENT ones this time, having something like a Squirtle or hell, even an Eevee would be pretty rockin' to play with!
Bulbasaur too

This would probably be the best decision they could ever make to sell the Wii.

Why don't they release PW for the Wii?  I mean, it would have the same gameplay, but if it was on a console they could add some voice acting or something.  Or just keep it text only, why not????

Uh, is the Cracker Launcher taken from somewhere, or is it just some random fucking thing?
