After the recent video escapades of our British cohorts, I got the feeling that a meet is going to be needed this fall.

I'm recommending a late September or mid October showing, what do you guys think?????

Generally we do this up in London, but I do have an apartment this time around if you guys really wanted to hit shit up here.

I'm down for this.  However, as I was saying at the last meet, I'm living at a new house now.  There's less room for parties and it'd probably be a better idea to have this meet somewhere else, but my place is still an option I guess.

I'm interested, but I don't really know anyone that well.

I'll also open up my house to host. I have lots of space for people to crash and we wouldn't have to worry so much about keeping quiet. Downside being I'm closer to Detroit than I am to Toronto which would make for a hell of a drive for anyone who came from Ontario. Upside being that because I'm close to Detroit we could wind up with more Michiganders at the meet.

The other (perhaps the biggest downside) is that there is literally nothing to do in Kingsville.

I think this would be a great idea.  It's a little further for some people to drive, but it'll give us a change of scenery as well as an actual house to hang out in.  Also, if we can't find anything to do, there's always Karaoke Revolution

Anyway, I'd be more than happy to host a meet. I have the space for everyone to sleep inside the house (unless you really want to sleep outside in which case be my guest). I wouldn't go so far as to call Kingsville 'shitty' but it's not exactly a hot party spot, either. Short of going to the bird museum or the petting zoo there isn't much to do here. We could drive ten minutes into Leamington and go see a movie...I've got really cool neighbours who usually don't get bent out of shape about parties. There are a number of good places to eat so the morning-after breakfast run could happen unabated- we'd just go to the Chuck Wagon or Noster's.

Also if you are planning this soon (eg this year) I probably can't go but once I get into college (next year) it shouldn't be a problem. Also only if its near Detroit.

I'm about 40 minutes inside Canada. It's a very nice drive- well worth it, especially if you stay the night.

You're in charge of bringing the PS2 because I don't own one.

OK, if we're cool with having it at my place... The last weekend in September is out because I've got band stuff. The weekend of 13-14 October is also out because of band stuff. 10-11 November, again, is out because of band. That leaves me pretty well wide open. Unless you all are coming down next weekend you're going to miss the pool being open because it gets closed for the season after that. Mid-October would be wonderful- hell, we could even do it during the last weekend of October and do Halloween themed shit.
