I will pick you up, no worries. I'll give you priority since a) you are taylor and b) you are actually taking initiative

that leaves 1 empty spot in my car

also let me know if you can chip in 10-15 for gas

Ok cool, thanks.  I can chip in for gas no problem.  I'll email you directions to my new house in a week or so.

If anyone is coming from Michigan and/or other states you all need to PM me right now for directions. Also, I recently got a cell phone so if any of you need that number (I've got the walkie-talkie thing, too) PM me and I'll give it to you.

AS IT STANDS: We're set to go for 3-4 November. I've got the sitter arranged so it's all good but there is a possibility that everyone being here will overlap Autumn being here which isn't a big deal. Mini-golf is all set up and if more than ten people go we get a group rate which is somewhat cheaper than paying individually.

Meal planning is almost in its final stages. Here's the menu- if it needs changing TELL ME PLEASE k thx

Main dishes: home-made hamburgers, chicken (and possibly pork) kabobs.
Sides: Corn, fresh salad, broccoli salad, macaroni salad, (insert other veggies I have on hand here)
Desserts: Cheesecake (mmm) and whatever else anyone wants.
Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

That menu sounds great!  I knew that having home cooking would be a better idea than eating at a restaurant.  Here is a (short) list of things I will be bringing.

PS2, two controllers, two mics
Karaoke Revolution Party and American Idol edition.
Money for gas and for food.

I could bring the gamecube as well but I think we'll be fine for video games what with the Wii being there.  If I've forgotten something just let me know, but I'm pretty sure that's all I needed to bring.

Please, bring at least one pillow and a blanket or two. I went through my old bedding stuff today (in organizing my basement) and discovered that most of the bedding that I have from the old house is all Autumn-sized. You are not Autumn-sized.

Also, I blew up my air mattress today and it promptly deflated. At some point during the move it must have been punctured somewhere. If I have money left over in the October budget I'll pick up another one. Otherwise... I don't know. I have a queen sized bed and I'm totally cool with sleeping on the floor so some of you all can sleep in my bed.

Ok, I'll bring along a sleeping bag and a pillow as well.  Also, you shouldn't have to sleep on the floor, I'm sure the rest of us will be fine.

Pillow, sleeping bag, PS3 and accessories, and a car if I can manage. Hmm... I wonder if JFB would go... He's got wheels. Hmmmm....

Ah, shit. Sorry, Dudesoft we'll miss ya. If this one goes well and everyone enjoys themselves I'm sure I'll have others.

EDIT: Also, I've been talking to some of my friends to see if any of them are interested in coming and hanging out with us. Thus far the reception has been polite but I have no confirmed peoples.

Okay so the boyfriend may not (don't know for sure yet) be able to make it due to his Nazi boss, however, I'm still on.

Tim may be able to make it for 1 of the 2 days though, however, I would guess Saturday will be when most of the action happens and Sunday is like recovery day so coming out for the Sunday would be silly correct?

Yeah, coming for the Sunday is usually pointless unless he wants to see a bunch of hung over geeks stumbling about.

OK, I have beer. I have tequila, jag, Yukon Jack (some whiskey-like shit my husband used to drink) peach schnapps, bailey's, some vodka, some CR and loads upon loads of homemade red wine. If I'm missing anything or need to pick anything up please let me know!

CONFIRMED:
Mamamack
Izekeal
Bart
Bart's brother
Moriason
dragonX
Raimiette
(insert your name here)

Mini-golf and games galore.

Now, I don't want to be rude or anything but I need to know about what time you all plan on leaving your houses- this way I'll know about how long it'll take for you to get here. That way I'll know what time I can pick up dX without running the risk of not being home when you all show up. Nothing would suck more than having the GW meet start with "We drove three hours for this meet and NO ONE IS HOME."

Guys, I'm sorry to say it this late but I just can't go this time. I really wanted to, but with my current schedule I just can't.

I'm sorry to do this, but I wanted to go but with a total of 9-10 hours of driving in 2 days I just can't do it, not right now. I'm sorry :(

I hope you guys have fun without me

Yeah, unfortunately that counts me out too.  My only option would be to take a greyhound into Chatham on friday, stay overnight, then catch another greyhound to Kingsville on Saturday.  Or I could just come down on the Friday on a greyhound, but then I'd be in Kingsville at 2pm and would have nothing to do.

Maybe we should just reschedule?

You can't reschedule something that's taking place at someone elses house.

I'm pretty sure mamamack said she's busy next weekend earlier.

No, I understand, I thought I read somewhere in this thread that Mamamack was available then too.

However, now that I look at it, it was actually November 17-18 that she had available and NOT next week.

I wasn't trying to be a bitch.  :fogetsad:
