I'm rereading and hell out of my first post and... nope... nothing about RPG maker or chipsets or anything like that.  Just a simple suggestion to maybe bring along a piece of equipment that, aside from  business and communication, is meant for entertainment.  The latter of which being what you're seeking at the meet.
