Anybody else think that scene with Will Smith in the grass looks just like Snake Eater

Haha... A pretty decent movie, actually! I would've liked to know more about the actual outbreak and stuff, but I think Smith did a good job. The ending was a bit 'meh', though.

I just came back from seeing this.  I have to say that for the most part I was really quite impressed with the whole movie.  It seemed a little short, and not everything seemed to be explained, but it was really a very good movie.  I would recommend anybody who is interested to go out and see it because it is quite good.

Apart from the product placement in the beginning it was a really excellent movie.  a bit short, but it was really solid and i never felt bored or wanting it to be over

Has anyone seen this that has read the book?  Because the book was absolutely amazing, and I know that they strayed from the book quite a bit on purpose, to help differentiate it from The Last Man on Earth, The Omega Man, and I Am Omega...and that worries me.  So I'm just wondering how close it is to the book, and how it compares to the book.

Anyone?
I'm not conceited.  I'm as good as I say I am.

Glad to hear people enjoyed it. I was going to see it tonight with some friends but we decided to play pool instead, so the movie's on tomorrow's agenda.

By the way, about that Dark Knight trailer...is that in every theater or just a few specific ones?

I'm pretty sure it's exclusive to the movie in most theaters, like Cloverfield with Transformers.

By the by, the Dark Knight exclusive is worth the ticket alone.

Will Smith is improving a lot. He did a really good job in The Pursuit of Happyness, I love that movie.

I'm definitely going to see this.

Yeah that preview was there when I saw it.  (I don't really like Batman so I'm pretty cynical about the whole thing though.  I kind of thought it looked dumb)

The preview didn't do the movie justice. It was short and bland so if it's any indication of how the movie's gonna be...well, I just hope it isn't. Also, Heath Ledger looks like a good Joker in pictures, but seeing him in the preview was kind of disappointing. Is it just me or did he not look like this?

Seems to me like they decided to change his appearance in the movie.

Back to the topic: Just got back from I am Legend. I was satisfied with the movie. Will Smith definitely played his role well and he did a great job overall. He was good in The Pursuit of Happyness but he was much better in I am Legend. The majority of the movie, especially near the middle, was amazing. I loved the suspense and thought they handled that aspect of it really well. They did a great job showing you how he lived his life from day to day and it really made you feel sad for Neville's situation. The ending could have been better I guess, but it's not that bad to the point where it ruins the movie or makes you regret going to see it. Definitely worth the price and I recommend going to see it if you already haven't.

I can understand the reasons you think that, (Fresh Prince anyone?) But I really think Will has improved as an actor over the years. I think as an actor he is actually pretty good, Independance Day, The Persuit of Happyness, I Robot. They are all pretty good films where he gives a pretty good performance. I'm not really trying to convince you to like him here but just don't judge the whole film on the basis that you dislike a certain actor.

I never liked Leo DeCaprio after watching Titanic but he blew me away in The Departed and The Beach and I think he is pretty Stellar now.

My thoughts exactly...

It was ok, but over all it was uh a WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING. There are like 2-3 plot points that actually offer any sort of progression, and ultimately you leave with this "uh nothing really happened :/" feeling. I mean it was good, well acted, but ultimately weak. I was like RELIEVED whenever a flash back came around because it actually added some plot of BACK STORY. Personally i think it was a well executed movie with a week premise/screenplay to begin with.

Oh, yeah! That's what I saw. I didn't realize non-IMAX only saw the montage. On IMAX, you see the first six minutes of the movie (aka a cool scene with the Joker and it kinda shows his crazy genious) as well as a montage. Very much worth it.

Yeah, I don't know how you missed I don't know if the ending was , but I do think it was somewhat rushed.

Cheesy Doritos, I completely agree with you and DeltaHybrid about those two scenes. Probably my favorite scenes, in addition to the one where

A few questions for those of you who have seen it. Question one:
