yeah pal. the only street fighter i've ever played is alpha 3 and i haven't played in maybe two years, but if you've got kawaks we can definitely play.

The EX games aren't HORRIBLE, but they're nothing fantastic either. They're good for a short while, but yeah.. I wouldn't recommend playing any of them for an extended period of time at all.

8800s alone are 200$, like I said, wherever I'd look around HERE (maybe you live in paradise whatever) but 500$ systems are actually worse than mine. Onboard graphics, for one.

Ones capable of running new gen CORRECTLY (not just cutting it and getting 10fps, you know) are like, 900-1100$ minimum. Though my mate was planning on getting a comp (no monitor and no speakers though) that was pretty good (8800 and quadcore and 2gb ddr2 and whatever) for 1300$

lol, something tells me you won't need a 8800 to get more than 10 fps in SFIV. Even if you decide to get an 8800, you could still get a decent mobo/proc/case/ram for the other 300. Weren't you putting a system together for around 600$? And you don't think its possibly to get something even close to that powerful for less? The internet seems to be your definition of paradise.

thats like...all Guile ever does. He only has 2 special moves what do you expect him to do

Also it doesn't block everything the Zangief player is just really terrible and never uses his Banishing Fist (which absorbs the projectile) or his spin (which evades the projectile) and Ken was bad vs them too.

if Guile is doing what he is doing in those vids, then the other guy is doing something wrong.

No its just the other guys sucking. There are a lot of things you can do against fireballs in this game:
- Jump over like in every other game
- Many chars can slide under them with crouching slide attacks (Blanka, El Fuerte, Dhalsim, etc)
- Absorb with Focus attack
- EX attack through, more than half the cast has EX attacks that go through or nullify fireballs
- Play Rufus lol
So yeah don't you worry about ST fireball bullshit cause it won't happen. Also what the Zangief player should have done is absorb fireball with FA, dash in, SPD. You have to be close and predict it a bit to land the SPD cause Guile recovers fuckin fast from Sonic boom, but how hard is it to predict when he's spamming them all the fuckin time.

Oh and where the fuck were the spinning piledrivers? I wanna see Haggar SPD! Also this game better not have those stupidly hard Charge Down + Up + button moves that ST and SF3 have cause I fuckin hate 'em. Or fuck just absorb and DO THE FA, Zangief's FA is quick and has long range.

Yeah summary: shitty zangief player. Kind of shitty Ken player against guile too.
