Anyway, I've been playing this game avidly for the last 9 months or so at the arcades, and tournaments. I am a pretty established Rufus pro in the Arizona/So Cal area right now actually! *e-peen grows*

I am very excited for the console release tomorrow etc.

Actually if people are looking for great info, my buddy gootecks has a site (gootecks.com) that is loaded with information and podcasts all about SF4. Of course there is also Shoryuken.com.

I've been watching HMV's site and it's still saying that no stores across the country have it in stock, so we'll see.

HMV is also listing the game at $59.99 while Best Buy and Future Shop list it at $69.99, so HMV would probably be the smarter place to go unless EB Games sells it for $59.99 as well.

EB Games here in Canada, at least the one closer to my house said that they'll be getting in later today (which is the 17th). This is for the limited edition for the 360 as well. So keep callin' UPRC... Its ahead of schedule.

Well, I just went out after work. HMV and EB Games do not currently have it.

The EB Games closest to me is practically the "main" one in Nova Scotia, or at least the one that probably gets the most business since it's smack dab in the middle of Halifax. If anyone gets it early, it should be them. I hope.

Got it! This was the only one in the entire city and one of the few in Canada... I know its insane. But the guy said I was lucky to get it. This is the limited edition for the 360.

Been playing it for about an hour now... Holy shit this is an amazing game. Honestly, I'm kind of hard to be impressed with video games in general but I am very impressed with Street Fighter 4. It is very fun and I have to say that its definitely better than Soul Calibur 4, and SC4 is a great game as well.

2 thumbs up here.. I'm having a blast here! Have a lot of my buddies over and man... we're just having some nice tournies right now! On my 28" HD monitor and nice surround sound system. The soundtrack in this game is kickass as well!

Just bought my copy today, gotta go pick it up on Friday! As soon as I get it I'm going over to my cousins house cause he has his 52 HDTV with the surround sound speakers and all.. It's gonna be insane.

I am horribly jealous of you Americans (and lucky Canadians). I feel pretty confident that I'll eb able to get the game today, though. There's an EB Games right across the street from my work, so it's just a stone's throw away from where I am at the moment.

we just played it for about 11 hours straight. its gr8. if you go online on xbox live its almost all boring kens in the ranked matches though.

Eleven hours? Holy shit.

I can only see myself putting in a handful of hours on a weekday (because of work and other shitty things), but if I get a friend over then I'm sure I could play for several hours, easily.

The weekend should be fun. Lots of time to kick back and kick ass on Saturdays and Sundays.

What's widely thought of these days as superior for fighting games, joysticks of gamepads?

Sticks by far, once you get used to them ofcourse. I went to a tournament one time and everyone bar two people was using a stick. That's not to say that you can't get good with a pad, I played a really good player once who just used a PS2 Dualshock.

Man... I went to two EB Games, Sony Store, The Source, and Walmart after work today.

I guess I'll try again tomorrow when Future Shop has them in. There's a storm tomorrow, so hopefully there won't be too many people out braving the conditions just to get their hands on the game there.
