After seeing Kefka, Akuma and others lose to characters that they'd most likely own, I'm on the L block team too. Hell, ANY character that isn't in Final Fantasy 7-12 or isn't a Nintendo character(no offense) winning would be a nice change of pace.

(seriously Link is probably the worst example of this, he was made to not have depth)

That's just why I like Link. He has no depth or emotions. All he does is kill stuff with bombs and swords and solve the occasional puzzle. He is such a badass even if he looks like a girl.

I still voted for L-block though.
<Drule> I can play the didgeridoo actually
<Drule> some guy on the street taught me
<Drule> come to think of it
<Drule> it was pretty gross how I played on his didgeridoo

so wrong...

I love how they put Cloud, Sephiroth, Link, and Solid Snake each in different brackets to begin with.  If they had put all four in the same bracket in the first place, it would have been pretty awesome!

But yeah I thought that character battle was a completely awesome idea when I first saw it -- until I realized that FFVII and Zelda fanboys make it a point to turn it from a funny novelty into some handjobbing SONY VERSUS NINTENDO popularity contest.

that weighted companion cube didn't just take a bullet from me, but hundreds.

I've never been mad at seeing a weighted companion cube.

However, the L-block has pissed me off at quite a few points.

L Block will smite it's foes with bright colours and quad-rotatative abilities.

First, the Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube kicks the shit out of the L Block.
Second, Snake should've won.
