ADELINE'S NEW ADVENTURES
I leaned back in my chair, eyes still fixed on the door. Surely, it was time; I couldn’t wait much longer. My eyes flicked up to the clock and watched the second hand, but I didn’t really register the hour. Then I glanced back at the door, willing it to move. Maybe if I stared with enough force… no, that was a stupid idea. Nothing to be done except for proper waiting. So the minutes slipped by…
Finally, it opened. I lit up at the sight of John’s body. Compact but lean. Charismatic manner. Bushy eyebrows.
“I made it,” he said, “and I’m sorry that I’m la-.”
I cut him off: “Don’t worry. All that matters is that you’re here.” I forced myself out of the chair to move towards him. “How did the talk go?”
“Not great, Mitchell. The party’s popularity is falling. I think this may be my last term. I… I think we’ll have to put up with Kevin Rudd next year.”
“Don’t say these things, John. You are a good prime minister. You’re… my prime minister. It’ll be alright.”
I put my arms around him; he was clearly worried, and his eyes watered at the corners. I felt like crying too, but one of us had to be strong. I actually didn’t think he had much of a chance either, but needed him happy.
I lifted his suit coat of his arms and he didn’t protest. His shirt followed, then shoes and pants. My shirt went over my head afterwards. He seemed to regain some composure after we looked at each other. It must have been the intense longing in my eyes. I wanted that body.
Then he was pushing me back towards the bed. The time had come, and my heart pounded. The excitement caused a buzzing in my eyes that made me think of space chaos. The – time – had – come. I fell back onto the sheets and let my arms lie either side of my body. He moved over me, now on the bed as well. I breathed in his scent as he crawled up to get our faces level. I stroked his back. John put his face up above mine, and opened his mouth. He started to move his head down so I closed my eyes and waited for his sweet kiss.

I woke up, neck aching. I was still in my chair, and I was alone. John had never been, he didn’t even know me. Reality could be crippling. I’d fallen asleep and started to think about him coming to me… a dream I had had before.
Then I remembered that he really was declining in popularity, according to the polls. This could be his last year… my last chance. The dream was a sign.
I was out the door and on the plane just a few hours later.
MITCHELL HAS GONE TO THE CAPITAL CITY OF AUSTRALIA TO FULFIL HIS LIFE-LONG DREAM OF SEX WITH THE PRIME MINISTER.
Because there is a high chance of an arrest or death in this, you will probably not see him here again. He says goodbye, Gaming World.
