honestly, i wish that guy would stop bastardizing music. the original song was a GREAT piece of music but man when senoue decides to start hacking away at it with his horrible YEAH GUITARS shit i cannot help but cry a little bit.

seriously what instruments do you expect modern sonic music to use? im sure the originals would've used guitars if they could've made them sound good on the genesis

man I don't know.  it really seems like a different style to what I'm usually used to jun senoue churning out, which is why I like it.  but I really want to see fumie kumatani or keiichi sugiyama do some remixes for brawl.  i'm willing to let a few jun senoue songs pass if they jump on this shit

EDIT:  oh, and cut jun senoue some slack -- it's kind of hard to live up to the hitmakers behind the first three games

i'm seeming to forget  that this is music for a fighting game


i am mostly upset about jun senoue trying to modernize the old music. it is MOSTLY pretty great actually, but in the later part of the clip it seems jun senoue just HAD to put a bit of his awful shit into the song, which kind of ruined it for me.
