the movie was made. It's a ridiculous idea in and of itself, but I still hope Mewtwo returns,
so bear with me.

Krystal: Yeah, not confirmed 100%, but good evidence for her inclusion. In the how to play vid on the Japanese Wii page, when they're showing the stickers, they show a huge Krystal sticker. If you recall, large stickers are very powerful and character specific. Then there's also the one girl who listed Krystal as one of the voices she did for Brawl in her resume (along with Samus and ZSS).

Luigi: Not much here, but there was that interview with the one guy that's working on Brawl who accidentally said Luigi's name. The interview was from E for All.

I'm almost 100% sure that every character will be playable in SSE. It'd make no sense on Nintendo's part to make such a great single player game but to exclude some peoples' favorite characters. I'm fairly sure that the bad guys in SSE (such as Bowser, King DeDeDe) are being mind controlled and that you can play as them once you beat them in SSE.

And if you think about it, that game must have had everyone unlocked. They would have made sure to show those screens before unlocking Ness, Lucario, and Jigglypuff if that wasn't the case. To me it seems like a slip up and that they forgot about the stickers. Don't get me wrong. I'd love for Mewtwo to make a comeback, but it doesn't seem likely at this point.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

hahaha, who gives a shit about mewtwo??

He was the worst and least fun character in the game. If you set him as a level 9 CPU opponent in Melee, he would self-KO on most stages more often than he got knocked off by any sort of effort on your part. I'm pretty sure nobody is going to seriously care for more than 5 seconds if Mewtwo is taken out.

Reguarding the online play : I understand now. But that is seriously lame you will not know who your playing if its random. I want online rivalries, and ranking/tournaments would be amazing...would up the level of the game a ton.

Wow, ignorant...Mewtwo, like Pichu, Mr. Game & Watch, and a handful of others, requires a little more practice to be good with. He was a unique character, and I rather enjoy playing as him. It's even more fun when I beat doubters who later say "What? You won with MEWTWO?!"

One of the things I love most about Smash Bros. is that all the playable characters have potential to be good. It all depends on how the person using them handles their unique abilities. Now I hope Mewtwo comes back so I can make you eat those words...

To casual players Mewtwo is crap, just like to casual players Hugo is crap in 3s, and Tizoc is crap in MOTW.
While yes, to pro players, they are still crap, you can still win tournaments with them, you just need to practice an assload more than you would with the other characters, and have to work harder to achieve the same things the better ones can do just that much easier.

Edit: and 9 times out of 10, casual players don't want to invest that time into practicing with a crap guy, so...

...dude, do you even PLAY with any actual casual players? Because the ones I've played with loved Mewtwo because he's frickin' Mewtwo. Evillest and most notorious-for-being powerful of all Pokemon. They don't think in terms of combos and tiers, they think in terms of "I saw a movie with Mewtwo in it, and he made Pikachu cry!"

9 times out of 10 my ass. 9 times out of 10, casual players will pick the character that they think looks the coolest, or the one they recognize the most.

I want Mewtwo back because he was a character with an original moveset, and isn't "dark-link/mario/samus/pikachu."

I don't think all characters will be playable in subspace. I mean, you only get to play certain parts with certain characters right? So it's possible we won't even get to play as bowser or Wario. In that sense there might not be stickers for bowser, mewtwo, dedede, wario, ridley, etc...

At least I hope anyways, I really want Mewtwo back.

Well Dedede is supposed to be a bad guy in SSE yet there's a giant character specific sticker for him.

EDIT (SPOILERS AHEAD): 2ch seems to have gotten a hold of Brawl. It'll be only a few days until we know the complete roster.

The CD (not really a spoiler, so I didn't hide it).

I'm a little disappointed with the selection screen. I'm really hoping there are more than 35 characters, otherwise almost all of the new characters are on that screen.
Btw, that's a "random" button in the corner right?

Yeah, that's a random button, which is completely useless. They should have made it just like they did in Melee. All this does is waste space.

And I was wrong. This isn't the starting roster. If you look at the very bottom of the screen, it has a character specific score and then a cumulative score. The character specific score is 0 but the total score isn't, which means the story mode has been played already and characters were unlocked.

I'm not too worried about the size of the current roster screen. In a Melee game with no data, the icons on the roster only show four secret character slots, and I think they took up more space, too. It started shrinking as characters were added to the outskirts, if I remember correctly. It's been awhile, though...

Ahh, finally, a random button. I wonder if I can leave my token on it and my character will be randomized every time...that would improve it over the Melee's "sort of random" corner selection...

And, as far as today's Dojo update goes, Manaphy is absolutely crazy. Since I do my best to learn all the characters well, this is going to be a lot fun for me. It's...the ol' switcheroo...

You know, i've been thinking about something. With the coming of the Mii's with the
wii, and the fact you can make them look like yourself...

What good reason do they have NOT to include a Mii character? I mean, it's not really
complicated to make up a moveset for a Mii, and of course not matter what the mii
looks like, the moveset would always be the same.

I'm not sure this has been mentioned yet, so if it has, Je'm excuse.
