I like it.  Fighting at the figure eight intersection with the carts going both ways is a clever idea.

I hope the karts don't do too much damage.  It could be annoying having to keep up with them all the time.  If they all generally keep up with each other, then it shouldn't be a problem.  It's like a still version of Mute City. ^^

I really hope this isn't our "big" update for the week/month, though I have to say, I much would much rather have things we've already seen in trailers than the options menu. Notice in that screenshot, we still have "vault" and "data" menus to discuss.

Is anyone going to be disappointed that Waluigi isn't a playable character?  Didn't think so.

Some kid at smashboards threw a tantrum (omg no way) about Waluigi not being in Brawl. He said he should have been in before "shitty third party characters like Snake and Sonic" (because Waluigi is so important to the Mario franchise and gaming in general). I found it amusing.

Awesome!  It's so great that Waluigi just runs over and ghetto-stomps somebody.  Stafy doesn't appeal to me much, but Waluigi looks pretty hilarious.

I like Stafy's games but still I never thought they say anything about him EVER. He'll probably make a pretty interesting assist trophy since you can actually hit him (I thought you could hit them all anyway).

lol at this. Waluigi is about as close you can get to a shitty third party character who is actually part of the first party developer.

So if he's never actually fought anyone, why would someone care that he isn't a fighter in brawl?

There is three rows with four characters in each for both the Newcomers and Veteran Fighters category. In the veteran fighters category, all the rows are filled. But in the Newcomers category, there is one space remaining.
I dunno, maybe that's a little far fetched.

Being that they didn't plan to bump the game back two months, they probably didn't intend on revealing any of the other characters.  Oh, there WILL be more, but damned if they're going to tell us before February.
