Today I got a complete bullshit story for you guys to read. Apparently, Santa Claus isn't allowed to say "ho, ho, ho" anymore, as it is OFFENSIVE TO WOMEN, GOD FORBID.

SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.

Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.

One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute.

"Gimme a break," said Julie Gale, who runs the campaign against sexualising children called Kids Free 2B Kids.

"We are talking about little kids who do not understand that "ho, ho, ho" has any other connotation and nor should they," she told the Telegraph.

"Leave Santa alone."

A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.

Offensive to women? Santa has been saying "ho, ho, ho" for over a century. Fuck off.

Even if this is only in Austrailia, this still makes me mad. So, what do you guys think?

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Besides, "ho" is just a variation of "ha" "he" "heh" or even the far-fetched "hat". Ho is another form of laughter, damn it! This is unbelieveable. I sort of want to buy a Santa suit, fly to Sydney and laugh "Ho Ho Ho!" until my lungs burst.
