Forente was Sharlene's real name until Nessiah changed Baroque's name to Forente, making him female from there on. Also, Ae-Ledt was referred to as female in the first 8 chapters and then bam along comes Kampfer and decided to name her the "King of Darkness" making her male from there on. I'm trying to fix all of this so in the end Forente will always be called Forente (female) and never Baroque, Sharlene's real name will not be Forente but rather something like "Erenia" and Ae-Ledt will be QUEEN and not King of Darkness.

Yeah, I'm kind of dumb. I also thought her name was Ae-Lodt and had to go back and change all of the many, many references to her. You can change it to Queen of Darkness if you like! I'm cool with that if you are willing to spend the time. Sorry! I just thought her henchs were women. My bad. Hopefully my chapter was a-ok other that that, story-wise. I tried to bring in a bunch of storylines myself by explaining the dynamic between the factions, but I ended up running out of steam.

the scene with Terror Skull is one of the BEST in the whole game. You did an AWESOOOOOOME job recapping everything and creating the background in which the whole plot is based on. We needed that, without it I don't think Kitsune would've been able to follow up so nicely and it would have been much harder for me to come up with a satisfactory ending.

I agree, Terror Skull's whole dialogue is what I based my chapter on (only because the save that starts my chapter starts in the middle of the TS scene). LOL. Also, I'm still trying to see where "Baroque" is referred to as male. Not that I doubt you, but I am unable to locate it, since I thought Baroque was introduced in Nessiah's chapter, and is drawn with breasts in Nessiah's still art thingy. :p

Also, about Baroque and Forente. I always assumed "Baroque" was a code name and "Forente" was her real name. My impression is that Mother Embla thought or tricked Sharlene into thinking that she was "Forente", but the REAL Forente shows up later. Because Nessiah said in the notes she wanted to steer away from the "Sharlene, u r Agony Scions lulz" deal.

Personally, I tried doing the opposite of what Kaempfer did, by trying to tie the story down into three seperate groups: The main group, Ae-Ledt's servants, and the Agony Scions.

Finally, Mirthless, I am quite curious as to what you did about Wrath's "human or Scion?" situation. Also, what did you do about the Agony Father and Ae Ledt being the same person? I dunno, this game makes my head spin.

I'll see what to do about Wrath, maybe just leave it like that. xD

Everything Mother Embla told Sharlene is true. Avaricious Viscount was her fiancee at some point in the past as well...
Forente has NO freakin codename as Baroque as that is pointless and only creates confusion because it isn't even explained. They just call her Baroque at one point (maleish name hence why I thought he was male at first, not to mention the sprite looks more male than Chuck Norris) and then they call her Forente later, out of the blue.
Sharlene's real name is Erenia, but this is only mentioned twice, not much emphasis in this as it doesn't really matter, it's just an interesting fact.
Nessiah introduced Wrath as a Finalizer codenamed Crimsom Sky so she will stay as such. She will be known as Crimsom Sky until the witch takes a hold of her, turns her into a Scion and names her Wrath.
Ae-Ledt is always going to be referred as female, nicknamed Queen of Darkness.

You call her Baroque until she says "Goodbye... Mother." and kills Mother Embla. Damn, am I really that dumb or is that WAYYYYYYSRHAIOHdsoadrh too hard to understand? For that to be understandable the player would have to disregard everything that was said about Sharlene before and that's... not good...

Ok I just have one more chapter to go (Kitsune's), everything else is perfect, bugless and makes sense.

It seemed as if Pride was after Forente in your chapter, that is why I worked him as such. You NEVER outright stated that Forente was her husband, nor that Pride was a hunter. It was assumed that Pride was after Forente and no reason was given as to why.

And before you call me "ballistic", know that Forente being pregnant was NOT my idea. Credit for that goes to Kaempfer. And I did play through it, Nessiah. Please do not go blindly accusing me of screwing up something that never was really explored.

You think Kitsune went ballistic? Have you played AZNs chapter? He pulled off a "let's kill everyone in a split second".

I didn't say you went ballistic, you did a great job. What I meant by "that's supposed to happen" is that the person before you expects you to do something but then you do something different, based on your own interpretation and that is the essence of such a game like this one. For example, when I made my chapter I was not expecting anything that came after and I'm sure RPG was not expecting me to do what I did either. Everyone did a great job and you all will see the fruits of your hard work soon...

Hahaha this entire thread is in spoiler tags that is very funny to me. Also, I am pretty sure I had everyone straight when I made the Terror Skull scene and I didn't introduce anyone new (not anyone worth mentioning). Thanks for the compliments guys. Mirthless, if you don't mind looking through some of the actual CODE for my chapter, I messed up several of the items required. I recall testing it pretty thoroughly and finding no errors, but on second playthrough much later I found several (all in the East Wing I think, but I could be wrong). It's also possible I somehow reverted to an older version as I lost my HDD awhile back, but I am not 100% sure about that. The beginning and end should both be proof, but gathering the clues might be a bit tricky. It's even possible we've been over this. I've been out of the loop for a long time.

My "supposed to be" comment was directed at Nessiah, not you. Other than that, from what I have seen, I do agree that no one's chapter is bad. It's just neat to see not only how different people make different interpretations of what happens next, but each chapter has a unique feel that really shows where everyone lies as a game maker.
