Well, stop motion seems to be all the rage these days. So here's another video!

This little clip was put together by some students for the final project of their Spring 2007 Animation class. For a student made film, it's got some pretty great moments in it, my favorite being the mushroom eating.

Check it out, it's pretty impressive.

The length of time they must have put in to create that is impressive but I really feel they jewed us out with the sound a bit there. They could have done something a lot better than that or at least edited what they did have a little better so we weren't left with periods of dead silence followed by badly cut mario sound effects.

Anyway, still very impressive.

EDIT: and that kid has rockin' sideburns.

It is impressive but I also completely agree with BunnyMilk on this. The silence really detracted. Now I know my stuff is silent but it doesn't have sound jump at me without warning in the middle of it. There should have been some kind of background noise all the time so that it wouldn't have hurt the ears so much when there were those Nintendo sound effects.

However the animation itself was mighty impressive and cool. Though I almost liked the pre-driving sequence most.

MR SATURN.
I SAW MR SATURN.

Yes, that was the best part of the movie for me.

EDIT: Oh, and the invincible guy.

Yeah, I was checking my volume at the lack of sound part. However, the invincibility part was really cool and must've taken a lot of time. Like the rest of the project, I guess! Very cool.
