Help Fraps and no sound... (Read 128 times)

I recently got Fraps, the wonderful recording program. But unfortunately, it doesn't record sound with RM2K3. Everything else, it does. I have already tried checking 'What You Hear' and the other one, but it still didn't work. Is that just something that happens all the time, or is it just me?

Besides making sure "record sound" is checked, changing between "Detect best sound input" and "use window input, or changing sound input (tried "wave"?), there's not much you can do with its limited options.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your sound card. Also make sure you have the Angelpotion codec, which is the one fraps uses.

Oh yea, and if none of the above helps you could take down hardware acceleration for sound in windows (control panel/sounds and audio devices/advanced/performance) down about a notch at a time till it works.
