But my local Target on the other hand had copies of the game about three rows deep on launch day. Gamestop/EBgames isn't the only place in town that sells video games!
So Dudesoft: Have you acted on your decision yet? I know that you had replied to the advice, but I'm curious to know what you actually ended up doing.
Me and caminator18 decided to beat Ratchet and Clank Future. It took us about 15 or so hours. We're going to work on Assassin's Creed next... it's such a
beautiful game. And, if it bores us eventually... we'll hit Uncharted.
We're both R&C fans, so... we started with Assassin's Creed, and after a while, we took a break and both decided "Let's Play R&C". (Which instantly means "Let's Beat R&C".) It's addictive, I have to say. We beat it no sweat, with all the weapons fully upgraded and leveled up (except that weird wolverine melee glove... no need for it).
Later today a few friends and I will be doing a drinking game party. Booze and fighting games. I'll rent Fight Night Round 3, and I own Virtua Fighter 5 already.
Thinking back, I've decided that the next paycheck I get will be Uncharted for certain. I want to beat A'sC... it seems beatable, time permitting. Uncharted seems PLAYABLE, and I want to really enjoy it without time restraint. As for Call of Duty... Well, at the Airport, where I work, you can pick up other people's shifts for tax-free dollars. The next shift-pay I do, will get me CoD4. (Should be soon. People have been badgering me for illegal shift-trades during my holiday, damnit.)
What else... Uh... No that's it. Aside R&C, I've just been working on my book and catching up on Heroes Season 2. (season finale on Monday?!) )
I'll post you on the post-vacation verdict! Maybe the plan will change---WHO KNOWS! (Well, probably Laxy, the God of Vacation Mayham)
EDIT: I just noticed how hypnotic my avatar is.
