Some people do not want to leave their bodies unexpectedly.

Like when they're undergoing a surgery or they suffer an accident? When it happens like this it's usually benefical.

Speaking of OBEs, you said you were into Astral Projection, Inri. Have you ever been successful, if so then describe your experiences. I ask this because I want to do it, but it seems a little frightening.

I don't know, when I tried it I could induce the "feelings of leaving the body", I'd hear a weird sound that sounded like something humming or pulsating, I'd feel I was vibrating etc, but then I became impatient and stopped everything, maybe out of a subconscious fear or something like that. But in reality there's nothing to be frightened about as it is completely harmless

Yeah the sounds and vibrations are supposed to be an indicator that you are in the phase right before leaving your body. They say you can do crazy stuff in astral projection. Like go to actual other places, such as the house of somebody and describe it to them, because your astral self is actually there.

Congratulations, even if you've brought up some magical bullshit pseudoscience and actually had people who believe in it respond (this is all a major sin), you have inspired musicians, and there is no greater act.

You bring joy to all our ears.

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. Although the risks are small, and more common in certain forms of meditation than others, there have been cases where people have experienced prolonged dissociation, out-of-body experiences, undesirable repressed memories surfacing, feelings of panic and anxiety afterwards, et cetera. I'll find some links if you REALLY want them, but you can mostly google this stuff yourselves.
these are the kind of things that happen when you're a dumbass teenager and you read a how-to meditate on the internet and dont follow proper mystical teaching and practice and you do some wrong shit and end up fucking up big time. coincidentally it also happens to really high level buddhist monks and stuff like that (ala the kundalini syndrome) when they do everything correctly way too much

I guess my point here is that the shit you describe only happens in extreme circumstances and if you do everything right it should never happen that way

Risks are pretty much associated with everything anyhow. Like, you can break your neck and die while falling down a set of stairs.

Yes, this is basically what I'm saying (although I don't think the circumstances need to be very extreme from what I've read). So I'm not sure what the point of repeating it really is. All I'm trying to say is that it isn't all good and wonderful and people should know a) there are possible risks, however small, and b) what those risks are.

Damn, those binaural beats are pretty freaky sounding.  I'm gonna have to sit down one day and try to achieve OBE, despite the risks.  I'm guessing it's like a lucid dream, which is pretty fun shit.

Actually I've achieved really deep states of meditation using these. I'm not sure if it is directly due to them or not, but it was cool.

Wash Cycle this is called something like putting the burden of proof on someone else, do not do this, just ignore Lord Kamina. One day or another he'll have one and think it was just an hallucination, but he'll believe they are real some day.

Shit guys. While we're at it, let's talk about the possible dangers of telekinesis or levitation.
I can't believe some of you believe in that shit.
