At first I thought that this was just another Burton-Depp love affair, but its actually gotten really good reviews (even a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes) and I'm actually pretty interested in it now. Even though the trailer makes it out to be a pretty normal movie, it has maintained its original form as a musical. I never saw the original musical, and usually I don't really like Burton's stuff but this looks like it could be pretty good.

Yeah I'll probably rent this when it comes out, just because I can't afford to see any movies right now. But I love Depp and this looks to be a pretty interesting musical so needless to say i am excited!

I'll rent this one when it comes out. I WOULD go see it in the theater, but Marcus Theaters didn't want to pay as much as Paramount wanted for it, so it's not going to be showing here. Jerks.

I want to see this movie. It looks pretty good. Yeah, my bro saw the play of it at a local college and said that it was pretty sweet and he had told me what it was about. When I saw the preview for it I was like, "Sweet, I wanna see that". I probably won't see it in theaters but I definitely want to see it.

My girlfriend wants to bang Depp so I'm going to see this with her sometime soon...probably on Christmas since neither of us works.

It looks very meh. I don't know why, but Depp just doesn't appeal to me as much as he does to other people. He's a good actor and all, but I think he's overrated. I'm not a huge fan of musicals so I don't know what to make of this, but hopefully I won't leave the theater kicking myself for spending $9.50 to see a mediocre movie.

This was actually a great musical. It's probably one of the only musicals I'd watch or ever watch again. It was great, and I bet it did the original justice.

You better be prepared for tons of sliced necks though.

I'm pretty sure its a given that if you have a girlfriend she wants to bang Johnny Depp. It's what girlfriends do, bit like a test to us.

Saw it earlier today. It was so meh. It was artistic and all, but I didn't think it was that good. I'd give it a 7-ish. My girlfriend liked it a lot though. She's going to see it again tomorrow with her friend.

Very excited for this. I don't usually care much for musicals (there are very few musicals I actually enjoy), but this looks very entertaining. And of course I'm a sucker for Burton and Depp.

I'm pretty much the opposite. I love musicals, but I hate Burton and Depp. I don't think I could stand them enough to give this a fair shot.

5 is the middle of the scale, so a 7 is above average (which is basically what decent films get on imdb.com).

"meh" would be around the 4 - 5 mark.
