Technically, there's no proof of this.
Celebrations at this time of year predate Christianity, much like easter does, but I don't give a crap as presents, time off work and beer are all to be found tomorrow on the 25th.
Also, nice usage of 'xmas' over 'Christmas', which is more politically correct, meaning you don't offend any baby eating terror monkies.
Seriously, are we even allowed to celebrate Christmas any more (Santa was banned for being a fat old pervert, Jesus was banned because he's, well, Jesus and apparently, mince pies are illegal, but the law isn't usually enforced).
