I voted Celes. She's too hard to not vote for, for me anyway. I would also vote for Cecil, Kain, Golbez, Gilgamesh, Exdeath, Terra, Locke, Kefka, Tifa (although she isn't up there.) and Beatrix. That would make a perfect FF game.

FuSoYa, Golbez, Setzer, Cyan, Freya, Kefka, Galuf, and pretty much any character from FFT because they where all great except the monk twins or whatever. Mosly FuSoYa though since he is probably my favorite final fantasy character although I think he is a bonus character so he will definitely never be in the game!

Tidus whines too much and tries to be cool, but always looks retarded. I mean VAAN for Christ's sakes would fit in better than Tidus. Besides, many would argue Yuna is the main character of FFX, only the game is through Tidus's perspective. The only time Tidus himself is important is the final battle and the very beginning -_-

Even though he was a pansy ass, I still liked him as a boss. The fights were fun and the music was pretty cool. I'm glad he's in this.

i find it kinda funny how people assume Erhgeiz was a Square-funded fighting game about FFVII when the only reason it had FFVII chars in it was that Namco were huge pussies and didn't want to release it here so Square said "sure we'll release it for you namco" and added 3 characters (that incidentally, all sucked).

Square game or not, it still sucked.

Oh, and either Seifer or Beatrix would both be awesome additions IMO.

Beatrix is my favorite FF9 character and she has a hefty following at other boards to be in this game, so it seemed natural to include her in the poll.

I see your point, but I mean, he just wasn't exactly my personal favorite type of main character. He constantly made a fool of himself (even if it was for comic relief) and his English voice made babies cry.

They probably wouldn't be able to. There are, what, four (six if you count Gibbs and Deweg of FF12 and CT) incarnations of the dastardly duo? As cool as it would be, I just don't see it happening.
