I would think that this is to KH as Crisis Core is to FF7. To be honest, I have no idea how the FF/Disney continuity will work, but there is most likely continuity between the original concepts.

Really now? Was anyone really ever that interested in the backstory of KH? Because unlike Crisis Core... this looks like continuity porn (prequels still count) and nothing more.

maybe its just me but KH was kind of like a fighting game in the regard it could make some horribly cliche excuse to make anything happen and no one should really care

KH is just about some girly guy with a phallic weapon trying to stop another girly guy from getting some very unmanly thing (kingdom hearts) with a bunch of idiots

There are those few... well... "hardcores" that get all pissy over it, but I'm just saying, you'd think a quality* company like Square Enix would address that, am I right?

Wasn't Roxas, Sora's Nobody?, Everyone that is turned into a heartless has 2 copies, One heartless, Nobody, and Roxas was Sora's Nobody, and so since Sora became a heartless in KH1, so Roxas was created then, then maybe the guy in that pic isnt THAT Roxas, maybe someone else?

I also agree that the Roxas look-a-like is Sora father.

The Zack look-a-like is prolly connected to Ansem and/or Riku in some way.
