new years stopped being interesting last year. i "celebrated" last year by being on irc and eating some ice cream. this year, i rung in the new year by reading House of Leaves for about 5 hours straight. fun fun.

Very true. I was talking about getting drunk alone just to get waste being sad. What you described is pretty cool. All you need to complete the scene is a fireplace and a nice comfy chair.

2008, yay!

My new years resolutions are to put forth serious effort into my work, my art, my game creation, my marriage, and my (not yet born) child. And to balance all those variables on a highly sophisticated scale of justice and stuff.

I also plan to build the crap out of things this year. I want to build myself a new desk, a workbench, and a few other projects I've been tinkering with.

I don't what it is about New Years... I just sort love it.

I went Partying after watching Alien vs Predator R for a bit. It was kind of fun but I don't drink so, yeah... Watching people making fools of themselves is what I did. It was a good thing I went with a few people that don't drink. I also got a shit load of phone numbers from girls that had little to no guys friends with them.

6 hours and 45 minutes past since the New Years here in Toronto.

Hey Flower Power, how did you like the weather? I thought the snow was gorgeous. We actually parked the car later in the night to walk around for a bit.

OH NO IT'S 2008?!!? HOW COME NO ONE TOLD ME YET!

How I did things last night:

Fell asleep at 11:00, woke up at 3:00 to find that I had scratched a bump on my face in my sleep and it was bleeding everywhere, then tossed and turned from 5-9 because my blood sugar had gotten really low and I had a throbbing headache but didn't want to wake up.

And now I am sitting here eating oatmeal trying to get rid of that nastiness.

I spent my entire new years eve, and new years day til 4am watching episode after episode of Futurama with my girlfriend.

I spent new years meeting and spending time with my boyfriends family, this is huge for him since I am the only girl he has really taken home to meet his family in lieu of wanting to get married. It's going to take a while to convice a musslim family to accept me; a convert.
