Well today I got accepted to another college. Here are the ones I applied to:

Kalamazoo College- Accepted with a $12k/year scholarship
University of Michigan- Deferred, fall grades sent
Albion College- Accepted with a $14k/year scholarship
Michigan State University- Accepted (today)

If I get into the University of Michigan it's going to be really hard to decide if I want to go there or Kalamazoo.

College: DePaul University

Major: Computer Games Development, Designer Track

Minor: Interactive Media (web development)

Probably going to switch the two sometime...  depends on how this year goes, really.  The game dev stuff is really fun and all, but I also love the web dev stuff, and it would PROBABLY be much easier to get a decent job with...  I dunno, whatever.  I'll decide at some point.

Go to Michigan.  That isn't even a question.

Ann Arbor as a town is 1000x better than the city of Kalamazoo.  I went to Western Michigan, believe me, Kalamazoo is not that good and Ann Arbor is good.  Not to mention, Michigan has a lot of other things to offer you (besides education,) that will enhance your college experience by another 1000.  Furthermore, isn't Kalamazoo college EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE?  I believe Michigan is cheaper, not to mention, I believe they have a better reputation.

Go to Michigan and I will see you next year at the football game against Michgan State.

Serious question:

I want to go into the FBI, CIA, or a similar group. Would a simple Bachelor's in Criminal Justice plus other credentials work, or would I be better off going into a branch of the military as intel (cred wise)?

Anyway, if I go with the first option, I'm going to Penn State just because.

Michigan is cheaper but with the Kalamazoo Scholarship I get almost half of the tuition cost off. Also its more of a conflict of interests. If I go to Kalamazoo I'm able to double-major in English and Fine Arts whereas its literally impossible to do at U of M. Both of them have about the same academic standards and reputation if any research is done in it, and some consider Kalamazoo to be even higher than U of M.

But again, I have to get into U of M first.

Go to college, get a bachelors (preferably in international relations), and join the military would be the best path. knowing languages such as farsi or chinese would also help.

Or linguistics and know a grip of languages (Definitely Farsi like he said). I have a friend who is currently doing this and he's apparently got an internship with the CIA so look for things like that.

Yeah, I loved San Andreas, but it was just such a black game. :x Like. Eh, I dunno, it was all so frickin' black, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of Vice City more.

This guy once told me engineering was pretty cruisy so i clutched his arm and pushed him past my foot thus tripping him. Was this action justified?

(this scenario never happened, but I have heard that engineering has a super duper workload?)

Major: Information Technology

Funding: see Lars' post

This semester I'm taking:
Concurrent programming and operating systems
Mathematical statistics
Programming and modeling
Complex analysis
English

The operating systems course is the first one we have fully in English, which is good I guess. The lecturer has a pretty heavy accent though.

There is lots of fun to be had here!

I have not only Chemistry and Math courses, but for some reason I have microbiology as well which is pretty random for my field of study. On mondays and fridays i get home around 5, and every other day its at 8 :( . it takes 2 hours to get to the college and 2 hours back. but hopefully that will all change next week once i get my car.
