He must try having big conversations with Katie Holmes during intercourse.

Did anyone notice the anti peta advertisements on the side?

yeah I would like to see the un-edited version where the interviewer is asking questions.  You can make anyone sound crazy if it appears what he is saying is out of contex.

It feels like an attempt to completely discredit him if you ask me :/

No matter what he's being asked, that still doesn't excuse Tom's incoherent rambling and repeating the same things over and over again, not to mention giggling like an asylum escapee. Best case scenario the interviewer is asking the same question over and over again, and that still doesn't excuse Tom's rambling the same nonsense for nine minutes straight. No questions can justify the 'answers' Tom is giving.

I took the liberty (out of curiosity) to dig around to see the source of this video; and it turns out that it's apparently Tom Cruise's Scientology indoctrination video. It's supposedly was taken down a few times and suppressed by the Scientologists and Tom Cruises agents or whatnot, but it's made its rounds through the Net already.

I feel like it would be ridiculously fun to pull a prank on Tom Cruise, just because he sounds like he would be absolutely oblivious to anyone making fun of his scientology

I agree...just make sure you aren't caught.  He seems like the type who would blow everything the fuck out of proportion.  He may grab your hand and call your a jerk, too.

I can't stand the people who edited this film, as they put that mission impossible loop for the entire 10 minutes of the video which is extremely annoying (and makes you disreguard what Tom is saying anyway.)

I think a lot of what he is saying is taken out of context, as you can tell its edited (and unfortunately the first few posts don't realize this,) because really the message which he is trying to beat out has some substance and morality.  It's not entirely far-fetched (now don't get me wrong, I do think scientology is RIDICULOUS but really he wasn't really being "insane" in this video but more just taken out of context and struggled with explaining it (then again, the struggle is made MORE obvious through editing.)

It just seemed like to me that he was just portraying "treat others as you would like to be treated," and I agree... but I am not a scientologist.

I think it's pretty bullshit that America has reached the point where anyone who claims to be a "messenger of god" has religious freedom.  I was reading in some newspaper that the US State Department or some high big whig officials were criticizing other countries for discriminating against scientology yet no one in American politics realizes that this is the fucking cult?  They do nothing but spout bullshit against their critics, require money from their believers in order to stay in the church (and advance in rank), and the entire thing is basically a huge corporation except they talk about space aliens and other bullshit.

At least the Church of the SubGenius is a blatant joke.  Fuck these guys for actually taking money and CLAIMING what they say is real.

What amazed me in that was just how BAD he came across at trying to say what he wanted to say.

It's like he forgot how to talk or something.

I saw this earlier today, and I loved it man.

I mean, Cruise was completely badass. The Mission Impossible music kept looping and it was just freggin cool. He was just sitting there with his badass voice and dialogue just fucking being awesome.

I don't know why I like Tom Cruise. :(

The video at the page isn't working, and when I search for it at googlevid I typed "time cruise" by mistake instead of "tom cruise". Time Cruise sounds pretty awesome, maybe Psyburn should make a movie about it.

Most people don't realize that Cruise (and about every other celebrity that praises Scientology) is probably being blackmailed into doing all his shit by the so called "Thetons" of Scientology... Whenever you become a Scientologist, you have to confess, or "Audit" yourself to some of these guys, but instead of having a confessional canon, where the information can't even be revealed by court order, these "Thetons" can tell anyone they want.

Celebrities tend to do stupid, illegal, career ending shit, and as part of their "Audits" they reveal these things... Perfect blackmail material, so when said celebrity wants to leave the cult'church', they really have no choice but to stay.

Scientology has a looooong history of blackmailing it's followers.

While that's a pretty intriguing point, I wonder how long it will be until someone savvy enough comes out and tells all, and damns their career to the abyss. Hopefully they'll realize they'll still be rich, and that it's really hard to end a career in Hollywood!

Gary Coleman. :(

Reputation can really affect the amount of income or press a star receives. However, it's unlikely they'd go bankrupt either...
