I didn't think Lindsay Lohan did bad at all in "I Know Who Killed Me." The movie itself sucked. She did the best she could with it.

I hope Juno wins for best picture. Not because I think it was the BEST film of the year (though it was my personal favorite), but because it would... validate it, if that makes sense.

Also why wasn't Sunshine nominated for best score. :(

I just jumped in my seat when Diablo Cody won! :)

I really wanted Viggo to win lead actor, but I know Daniel Day Lewis would win. That speech that chick gave sucked too.

Man, yay for No Country and Coens :D

BOURNE GOT THREE. That is amazing.

Daniel Day-Lewis and Bardem deserved it, dude. Also Ethan Coen is awesome   "Thank you" haha

Uh... the orchestra was interrupting way too much with people's speeches, man.

Yea, it seemed like they kept cutting people short. For the most part it is what I expected, still happy to see Daniel Day Lewis and No Country do well though.

I'm happy mostly. Lots of Coen credit for a good movie, Sweeny Todd basically kept out, and Once winning for music (I really liked the movie and I am glad it got recognition for something especially since enchanted was 2 or 3 of the other nominations)

Yea they kept cutting people short and they obviously realized it after they brought someone out again to get a chance when they skipped her.

Oh and the best part was seeing the flashback to Cuba Gooding Jr. because I had never heard of it before and it was very happy.

Yeah. The whole time I was thinking "I hope they don't play the music" but they didn't so that was really cool.

Anyway, I think Daniel Day-Lewis definitely deserved it, but I kind of would've liked to see someone get it who hadn't already won before. Just to be fresh or whatever.

Out of the five nominees, Clooney, Day-Lewis and Jones had already won before. It'd be just down to Depp and Viggo. I'd choose Viggo.

This went on til gone 5am so I didn't catch it all, I'll watch the highlight today but Tilda Swinton gave the most annoying Oscar acceptance speech ever.

Pretty bad... I only predicted a winner in one category, visual effects and it turned out wrong. Was really surprised by that. The Golden Compass looks like a game. What did that film have that was an achievement except poor CG? Weird.

Other than that, the awards went to the expected nominees.

hahaha oh man yeah, this was embarassing to watch. i just turned away from the screen.

the whole show was pretty terrible, but marion cotillard's reaction to winning was funny/beautiful. i haven't even seen la vie en rose but i'm gonna.

I thought marion cotillard's speech was embarrassing... "you rock my life... you rock my life... there are angels". Man, I'm sure she was excited as hell but, bleh! I just wanted it to stop.

I don't remember what Tilda Swinton said. I was too busy looking for her eyebrows.

I don't think she expected to win AT ALL. Same with Tilda Swinton. Julie Christie was frontrunner in Best Actress and Supporting Actress was actually a race among Ruby Dee, Amy Ryan and Cate Blanchett. I don't think anyone predicted Tilda Swinton.

Also, a lot of foreigners won tonight... a bunch of the people who won technical awards were French, Cotillard is French, Bardem is Spanish, Day-Lewis and Swinton are English, I think.
