No voting? No polls at all? Even I will give you my extraordinarily well-informed opinion.

I liked Laguna from Final Fantasy 8 because he's in the middle of a war and then decides to go out drinking with his friends. More video game characters should be like that.

Play Mass Effect Omegeg...
In that, you have to save the entire Universe, but you still manage to find time to have sex with a blue skinned 150 year old alien while you head towards the final battle in a ship that is capable of faster than light travel.

Also, GLaDOS for an NPC and Mario, because any fat Italian 'shroom eating plumber that can land a good looking princess is obviously doing something right (also, princess = rich).

My favorite video game character is the fighter from FFI because I can only walk in increments of 1 m<sup>2</sup>.
