About a year ago, Jester made an excellent topic covering many of the issues about the mainsite, which would answer your question. The short of it is: our mainsite is down for the time being.

While I have your attention, why not cover some basic things in your topic like: where are you from, how old are you, what kind of things do you like to do in your free time. Though this is "just" the Welcomes and Farewells forum, I would like to think of it as a place for the community to get to know new members, not just to know that they are here. The guidelines topic has several other common questions you might consider answering so that we, as members, can pick you out of the sea of new faces that join every day. Reading the guidelines here also helps you to get into the habit of knowing what people expect from your posts by reading the rules in each forum before you make a new topic.
