What it's about:

Chuck Bartowski is a guy in his mid 20's living in LA. He works at the local Buy More (Think Best Buy) as a member of the Nerd Herd (Think Geek Squad) with his best friend Morgan. He lives with his sister and her boyfriend "Captain Awesome". Chuck is a normal guy until one night a friend of his who works for the CIA breaks into a supercomputer and is killed by the NSA. Before he dies he emails all of the information he got from the computer to Chuck and destroys his pda. Chuck receives the email and all the information is downloaded into his brain. A beautiful CIA agent named Sarah tracks him down and a standoff insues between her and an NSA agent. Chuck is decided by the powers that be to be kept under both of their direct protection....

Is it good?: Absolutely.

It is funny, it is ACTIONZZZZ PACKED (sometimes) and it has an awesome plot! I give it 29 stars a+++

I really enjoyed it, particularly with the lackluster season Heroes had it was nice to have a good quality show the same night. I missed the last few episodes though, after the break.

I think we had this topic a month or two ago. I cannot stand this show. But that's just me.

I love it.  It's quite refreshing to have just a good hour action-comedy to break up all the serious shows.  I mean, I love Heroes, 24, Prison Break, LOST, Smallville (not so much the two most recent seasons), etc. but Chuck is a cool respite from all that drama.

Supernatural does this to an extent also, except it's a little more on the serious side, but every once in a while, you'll get a goofy episode where you can tell they had so much fun making it.

could be good if it was actually funny and actually well acted but unfortunately it fails on both respects

Yeah I saw an episode of this a while back, and it wasn't funny, and it didn't really grab my attention.  I didn't really give it more than one chance though, seeing it was on at the same time as prison break last season.  It just didn't really seem like it was all that interesting or well developed/thought out

Someone kept telling me to watch this. I finally broke down and watched the first three episodes or so, and I must say that the show didn't live up to its interesting premise all that well. I mean, I started getting bored during Chuck vs. the Helicopter because it all just felt so drawn out. I kept checking the time on the video to see if it was almost over, because the episodes seemed so lonnnnnng.

But it can be funny, at times, so I see where people would like it. I just didn't find it particularly enjoyable.

Watched it for about 5 or 6 episodes. Was really enjoying it too until I realised that it was the same formula every week:

There's a new bad guy in town. Let's investigate him and bring Chuck for some reason. Oh shit! Chuck fucked up! We have to sort this shit out! I hate you Chuck! Ow yeah, Chuck's only human. I love you again Chuck.

Fuck that.
