I think piss is fitting because they're turning him into a survivalist hunter type and he's using all the resources he can. I had no idea people would get so "pissed" off about it.

Whoa, I think they really sunk the backburner more by giving the regular flamethrower a few buffs (can remove afterburn with airblast, airblasting shit while kritzkrieged returns the shit as critical shit.)

I mean, the damage boost was pretty wonky to pull off before and also really insignificant but now the regular has another attribute to it that raises it above bb. Also afterburn just got even more useless.

Man, thanks to all the homos bitching about getting all the new shit through achievements you no longer get them through achievements but rather, through luck. So thanks. Thanks a lot.

Now the achievements are like in any other game: pointless. And you can't work to get all the new stuff, you just have to wait instead for an undetermined time (I was playing 1½ hours and one guy in the entire server said he got a new weapon).

You know, the only FAULT with tieing the items to achievements was that the achievements were ridiculous for the most part, like, one million fire damage (I'm barely past the 500k although I've played pyro now and then ever since the pyro update came out SUMMER LAST YEAR), 2000 assists on heavy, uber a soldier who kills 5 people with the rocket launcher, 100 underwater kills with heavy where both you and victim need to be underwater (note the lack of water in 9 out of 10 maps in the game) etc. dumb shit.

I haven't really researched the current achievements but they seemed pretty easy and something you would do in the process of just playing the game normally. Like headshot 10 snipers, this is something you do normally, a fair amount too. Get 3 headshots in a row, again, easy and you can get this by just playing the game not even knowing about the achievement.

But it made sense that you EARNED the new guns, instead of just waiting forthem to appear for you, and apparently with the current system you just wait for them to appearand you might even get ones that you already have so uhh...

It's great if you just bought the game or are trying itbecause of the free weekend deal but it's still really dumb because you have ZERO control over it. There's no way to make the % higher afaik.

Fortunately I've heard rumours of them going back to achievement based items after the free weekend is over so all is not lost.

Servers need to be updated? idk.

man, I've played a lot yesterday and today and I've gotten one blutsauger and axe, both which I've already had for a year. And it's completely mindless and random, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

3 blutsaugers, 2 FaNs and 1 axetinguisher. You know, they knew before they released this that you can't trade yet so why would you allow duplicates at this point. All they do is they hinder you from ever getting the new content which really blows because I play spy a LOT and all the new shit for snipers offers more interesting gameplay that isn't just point n click borefest.
