So, producer Judd Apatow of Superbad fame decided to make a "weed action movie."


It's going to be released in August of this year, but there isn't too much info out yet other than the general plot idea and the cast. All I'm saying is, keep an ear to the ground for this movie, because it looks damn funny. Word on the street (I think I read this on SA...) is that the dialogue is hilarious, but the action is played straight.

I can't wait to smoke some blunts and watch this movie.

These guys make the best movies ever. The kicking out the windshield bit had me choking on my tongue with laughter.

Theres a whole scene from this movie on the Superbad dvd. Those guys keep making movies like rapidfire, but it's great since they're all so good. This film looks pretty incredible, especially when the guy is watching the African-American comedies and shit. Loving the usage of M.I.A.'s song in the trailer also.

dang this looks like it could actually be pretty good. you can't really tell from the trailer how they are going to play the action story, but it could still easily be really funny. i dunno though, these guys ARE funny men but going from their other films they are also kind of assholes.

i'll see it when it comes out anyway.

Who would have thought James Franco could do comedy that well haha. Looks great, and having used to be addicted to weed even more appealing, plus they don't exaggerate the effect of weed like in most weed movies do. Can't wait for this, and that song fit perfectly.. what is it?

looks like a pretty good movie so far. I haven't wanted to see any comedies at all recently so hopefully this one won't turn out to be bad

haha this looks awesome. But then again I feel guilty for smoking the bud myself. This + Harold Kumar 2 make 2008 a good weed year. erhmm

sorry for double posting but it seems like everyone wants to keep this movie under wraps. my speculation is that it wont even see the light of day . they've taken off that awesome trailer ( one with m.i.a's song) and you can barely find any footage except for the 4 min vid of them talking about weed.
