alright, for those in the know, i've been kicked out of my home by my mother after my boyfriend was kicked out by his. our parents were at least considerate enough to give us 1 month to get the hell out, and that month is coming to an end next week, so we're going to be moving out into our own apartment.

we're not worse off really, we both have stable jobs (yeah i know FLIPPING BURGERS might not sound like the most stable job in the world but it's actually not that bad when it's NOT IN THE US), i'm still studying in film school and he's still studying in home decorating. i'll be on MSN from time to time until the final date is there but from the moving out i probably won't have access to the interwebs for a month or two.

until then, i'll be accumulating points in real life...

i thought you lived in canada dude, because i do and fast food working for people that live on their own would be pretty shitty imo.

when you're in a couple and you both make around $9 or more an hour (amounting to around $20/hour), it's really not.

plus the joints we work for (yes it's McDonald"s) are really relaxed and cool.

i....guess. if it works for you thats okay but man, im in constuction and make 20 an hour by myself, dont work THAT hard and i still qualify 20 pretty low. 9 an hour for mcdicks is pretty amazing though, around here its still 8 an hour....resulting in not being able to understand the people im trying to order food from. im not trying to gloat or anything just  i cant imagine living off of only 9 dollars an hour.

yeah well you have to understand we're both full-time students in college and going for an university degree so we can't get jobs in construction and shit part-time except during summer and even then Quebec asks that you have your competence card otherwise you can't do shit legally and you get fucked over royally if you get caught without it.

(i'm a shift manager at mine, so i make a little over $10 myself and my bf is a team leader so he's just under $9 btw)
