I'm usually not someone who falls for nostalgia, but Goldeneye's aged very well, considering that most console shooters are pretty bad anyway.

It's still a mighty good game. I play through unlocking 007 Mode every once and a while just for the hell of it. The only issue I have with it is frame rate.

Speaking as a Bond fan, and never playing the GoldenEye singleplayer, I can't see why this would be exciting. There are far better Bond stories to draw on.

Who the hell watches Bond for the story. It's all about cars gun's and bitches

Also why even bother remaking it? Just port the damn thing! Shitty low-ply graphics are part of the charm with an old game like this.

The original graphics are in there. You can switch between them and the updated version while playing.

Yah I do agree that Goldeneye is totally nothing special. It was ok back then when it came out but has quickly aged and doesn't even hold the tiniest of candles to most modern fps games. It's (like again most things) mainly nostalga that people go on about it thinking it's perfect.

^Yeah, I was gonna say that as well. I was at a 'history of videogames' exhibition thingie in london a while ago and they had an n64 with goldeneye played rigged up. I used to LOVE the game when it came out...and when I tried it last year I got bored within 30 seconds. It just looked terrible and played even worse.

I read it for the story... Not much about guns and cars really.
As per videogames, I want to see Moonraker.
