definitely one of the best shows ever made. i've recently began watching through them, but i can't remember some of the best episodes. so this is the "discuss favourite mystery science theatre 3000 episodes" topic!

my favourite episode is "overdrawn at the memory bank", as everything about it is amazing. the film itself is grand as it makes no sense at all, and the way the guys commentate it trying to make sense of it is hilarious.

and everything they say about the fat man had me in stitches.

so yeah, not sure if this topic has been made before or whatever (i'm sure it has) but tell me the best mst2k episodes!

"The Screaming Skull," if only because it had the Gumby clip at the beginning. "That squares my breasts."

And there was one with bees that was ridiculously hilarious.

Mystery Science Theatre 3000 is basically 1 guy and 2 robots "watching" old movies and making fun of the while it's playing. MY favorite one's are the Aliens coming to Earth ones. I can't remember the names.

Also here is the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 Website. It has little episodes of just the cast (no making fun of movies).

I'm not sure about my favorite episode, but my favorite short is A Case of Spring Fever:
Admiral Robert E Lee: From an alternate reality in which the United States is an archipelago and the Civil War is fought at sea.

MST3k was awesome but I kind of referenced it so much I had to wean myself off it to get better at telling jokes

And I loved Overdrawn at the Memory Bank - I was wondering if I liked all the recently-made movies because I could relate to them or if they actually were better than the black and white monster movies

I guess with the old 50's movies you can only make so many jokes - and they /did/ grow up in the 80's (they made it painfully obvious sometimes) so maybe they're better at joking at the movies of THEIR TIME

Manos: The Hands Of Fate is an absolute classic, but I almost think it's better without the commentary. Haha.

The Atomic Brain is absolutely hilarious. It's been a few years since I've seen it, but it's stuck with me for a long time.

Also, the second installment of the Shorts series is priceless. :)

I was going to say 'Pod People', but the Dylan Thomas version of the 'Gamera' theme song from 'Gamera VS Guiron' brings it to the top of the list.

If that's the one with the young couple who gets car and they act like even more distracted than people are today like laughing at each other and pointing at things and then they get hit by a train - that one's awesome

"do not under any circumstances use your buttcheeks to steer the car"

Manos: Hand of Fate is an obvious choice because of how bad it was without comentary. And then with it added it is absouluty hilarious.

Prince from space (or something like that) is another one I really enjoy. One of those movies where you're like "They actually made a movie about this, what the shit??"

Completely.  I'd also recommend Cave Dwellers.
