Thanks to everyone who participated, a lot of great logos were submitted but in the end, there is only one winner. However, we also decided on a runner-up and we might be using that logo in the future as well. It wasn't easy to pick the winner but keeping the blog in mind, we think this logo fits the current site the best.

So with that, the results...

I think that Psycho's fits better the GWLog site than zach's but on the contrary I believe that zach's would fit better on GW6, but we'll just have to experiment!

And well Konix, I guess it's just a mascot of ours. There are lego games though like lego star wars.

the lego thing slightly bothers me because lego guys are universally recognizable and coopting him for GW will confuse most people, where as with what konix said, foget is clearly a mascot and not so clearly a videogame character.

I for one am really glad that zachiroth's didn't make it. I have nothing against the guy, don't get me wrong, but it's just so weak. Like, the logo is typographically really, really weak. It just won't work in the situations a logo is supposed to work. Script letters are cheap and Web 2.0-esque gradients are a fad. It makes Paul Rand cry.

I really liked Rockman's but Psychoskull's was second best, so no big loss here.

I personally think Rockman's would have been better without the planet, plus yeah, it was too pixelly and it would have been impossible to make it larger if needed. It was still very good though.
