In the past I've had to reduce image sizes because I'd draw them a tad bit to big (happens to everyone sometimes) but this last week or so I've gotten errors for something I've done in the past multiple times. :fogetshrug:

I'll find the source of the error and fix it sometime soon however.

In the meantime I really need this charset reduced. :shady:

This is probably stupid for some of you as, this might take 20 seconds, but I really need these A.S.A.P.

:fogetmmh: Thank you very much in advance.

Credit of course will be given [Unless ][/Unless]

What error does it give you and what program do you use?

I use either Photoshop or infranview (I just had a serious virus about 2 weeks ago its gone but alot of stuff was screwed up)

When I attempt to shrink it the error says "The file you have selected may not be reduced. The file may be corrupt."

Now the problem is.. i can do everything else (make it larger for example) and I used to shrink images previously without errors.

And its not a corrupt file because It says it for every file.. -=(' . ')=-

I'll send this over to Hardware/Software so you can get some help on getting that fixed. I personally have never seen that error, so I dunno what it could be.

If it doesn't get resolved or something, then feel free to remake the topic in Resources+.

I suggest you give the approximate size of your intented reduction, as "reduced" is a bit vague.

My picture started out as a 312 x 260 picture..

In order for it to fit in Rm2k3 it must be "288 x 256"

When I shrunk the picture to 288 x 256 it shrunk the background, but not the characters.
Its a little odd because I than expanded it to a size not much bigger than that (forgot sorry -.-)
it expanded fine, but now when I shrink it back to 288 x 256 it has this error which I've never seen in my life, and by the looks of it on google not many people get this error.

I'm not at my Photoshop right now, but under Edit there is "Canvas Size" and "Image Size" I think. Maybe you clicked on Canvas size and changed it. It would probably be a good idea to get rid of the virus, whether that mean scouring the internet to find a cure, or reformatting. If you reformat you can always save your important stuff to flash drive or disc.

I think I did canvas size accidentaly the first time, but regardless of that, now neither works.

The virus is gone completely but it probably messed around a few things, this being one of them.

Edit- I'm Just going to reformat. But I really need thosepictures smaller before I do so Ill just repost the topic in resources+
