yeah dude it is pretty horrible to go "no you aren't a real man because I say you aren't." especially when these people have worked and thought long and hard about what they are going through just to make themselves happy, it is very terrible to just go "no sorry, you're not a guy and that's that!".

you might as well just not call them human really, because to them it means the world to be that gender. you need to accept that biology can't play a hand in everything, and the biological terms "man" and "woman" while important, were created in a time when people couldn't change their genders and we didn't have even close to the tech to do so. Now and days, while they matter, it's more free form as our society advances. Maybe one day the concept of gender won't even exist, who knows. It's just a pretty dick move to say that they aren't that gender because you say they aren't. You can believe that, but they are that gender now.

do these tablets have any adverse side effect on the female or the milk she produces because i've never heard of these things.

i'm not too keen on taking anything man made (well, nothing that's artificial and forces a natural reaction).  if there's some natural substance in the world that causes a woman to lactate then that's awesome, but if i were a woman i sure as hell wouldn't take some lab made pill that could give me or my baby cancer 30 years down the road.

This is... I shouldn't be BOTHERED or anything, but in a small way I am. I mean, go nuts (wo)man, have a baby. But there's this little nagging VOICE in me going "THAT BOY AINT RIGHT!!!" And as to the whole debate that seemed to go on in the first page of this topic - I think the reason Mog was stating his opinion so adamantly was the fact that the title of this news story is kind of misleading. I expect most of us clicked on this expecting to hear how a biological male was able to become pregnant by means of some new scientific discovery (now THAT would be a worthy newstory), and not how someone who was born female, but now is considered male was able to become pregnant (which, in my opinion is nothing too exciting on the biological front). So basically, this news story is exciting socially - there's no point in arguing over logistics over science and definitions.
