PCI 2.0 is more for future cards, since it adds the capability of 32xPCIE whereas we haven't even started outgrowing 8x yet (yes, even the fastest video cards today won't see an improvement in 16x over 8x).

Okay I just checked it out. It's 16x, so you're fine.
I'm almost 100% sure you're case will fit the card as well. I've almost never heard of a case where somebody couldn't fit their card in.

You haven't heard the horror stories of the 8800 GTX then.

I meant the 8800GT, but yeah those 8800GTX are huge. As long as you have a mid tower case, the 8800GT should fit fine. I know some of the GTX cards actually end up reaching the hard drive bay on some mid towers though.
