hey, i have 2 xbox 360 controllers, both of them are wireless, and 1 charge and play pack. When i turn on both of them, all 4 lights on the controller just flash on and off, i tried switching the energy packs around, and I EVEN REPLACED THE BATTERIES IN THE BATTERY PACK, and the lights still flash.
I plug the charge and play cable into the controller, and on the cable, i get a green light, but the 4 green lights still flash, and i still cant get them to work.

ive also tried pressing both of the sync buttons on the controllers with the console
PLEASE I NEED HELP

Straight away, it sounds like they're not synced, but since you've tried the sync button... I dunno. You might be just syncing them wrong? Attach a pad to your Xbox using the charge cable, when it syncs up, remove the charge cable and see what happens.

You definitely aren't syncing them properly.  Just try to do it back and forth and see what happens.  Sometimes it takes me a minute or two to get my controllers synced.  Note that the charge cable carries *no* data and won't affect what you are doing -- it only supplies power.

Aye, but if you use a data cable, it'll sync your pad to your Xbox straight away. No need for the sync button.

Why is the phrase "contrary to expectation" used so much in this topic? Is it a joke or something?

But yea, sounds like theyre not synced, and using a data cable should be a quick fix. I don't have an xbox, but I've had problems with others', and it seemed to work.

I'm not sure if it was PS3 or 360 wireless controllers, yet I heard they took interference from blue tooth together with certain wireless networks.
