Actually, if I schedule my orientation right at OSU I will be wanting to go to this. Its not that far of a drive for me (4-5 hours)

4 to 5 hours back and forth is a pretty long time buddy, especially on unknown roads.

I am just taken aback that you'd consider doing this from OSU!

I didn't realize that there were beaches in Canada.

You're kidding right? It's like the second largest country in the world and I think like 4 of the great lakes are part of Canada. I mean, there's other beaches everywhere else (there's like 3 LAKES surrounding my city, which makes like 7 beaches)

they're nice warm sandy beaches. i mean there are places like you described along parts of any water front, but only skinny dippers and dumb kids use them. most of the beaches are located around parks and stuff.

i should mention............it's only snowy here for like 4-5 months. right now it's 29 degrees celsius, which is VERY warm

For the record we are going to one of the most popular beaches in Southwestern Ontario.  It does not suck.

I've driven myself to Detroit and back before, so that part isnt a problem at all, it'll just be weird when I actually get into Canada heh
