Hey,
I was just recently banned from a forum called rmxp.org by a crackhead called Teloch who finds joy in pretending to be a woman. Not all that much of a shame really, since the forum's shit anyways but it's stupid either way. Gamingw has always had a better reputation than there, but I never really got to switching. I'm not really overwhelmed with options either, but hey whatever. I know a few people pretty well from here; Despain (which I've worked a lot with), Lyndon (not sure of his username here), and ramirez. I'm sure I'm missing some, but it's not really important anyways. Spending time with despain has made me somewhat of an elitist which I'm trying to break the habit, but it'll take some time I'm guessing.
Considering this is an introduction topic, I figure I should say a little about myself. My name is Micheal Chambers, 19 years old, and currently living in the city of Toronto, Ontario. My interests are evidently game creation, mostly with Multimedia Fusion 2 and RPG Maker XP (sorry!). Speaking of MMF2, I've also been procrastinating on creating a site / forums dedicated to this software. MMF2.net was actually up for a short period of time, but eventually fell to the water due to a hosting company I'm trying to run. I'm planning on getting it back up shorty though, and if anyone knows of the program and wants to help out just let me know. Another huge interest of mine, is music making. I've been composing music for around 5 years, and for a few fairly big RPG projects namely 'Sandfall', and 'Cell Chamber'. I'll post a few links to my songs below if you're interested.
Lately I've been doing a lot of web developing, and I'm a definite perfectionist when it comes to anything related to this. Just looking at the footer of this site and seeing the forums incredibly outdated bothers me. Comes with the experience I guess. I'm also a huge fan of video games, and I sport the 360 all the time. In my opinion, the 360 is better than the other two consoles, but this is incredibly biased as I don't own any of the others. A few of my favourite games are Bioshock, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed, Ace Combat 6, and Mass Effect. If you guys are up for a few rounds, give me your gamertag and I'll add you.
So yeah, that's pretty much everything that comes to mind. Oh and contrary to my somewhat femine username, I am a guy for those of you planning on asking me that, if you didn't pick it up by seeing my actual name. Looking forward to being here!
