I might get warned cause this is my 1st time here.

but here goes.

I made this topic to discuss about an anime i've been watching recently,
and i really loved it.
it's Excel Saga.When i saw it for the first time i peed my pants because i was laughing too much.

I'd like to discuss opinions about this anime.
what makes it soo funny,why is it funny. etc.

I haven't seen it, I've seen trailers and shit for it but to me it seemed like some random "comedy"(I use the word with sarcasm) anime which doesn't quite grasp the gem we know as humour.

Indeed. Excel talked way too quickly. Trying to decipher her speech pretty much ruined any amound of comedy that she could have potentially delivered.

I tend to stay away from Japanese comedy shows, since generally the cultural gap is too wide and I generally end up either (a) confused or (b) terrified, and it's generally (b). Still, I might give this a shot later...

Excel Saga is awesome. There is said to be a manga as well and it's supposed to be better,
but I don't see how that would work.

Also, Excel saga is funny as hell. It could hardly be more random, but it actually has some
kind of story to it. Easily one of my favorite anime.

The only thing dumber than an argument on the Internet is the same argument in real life.

If you are a fan of Excel Saga, I would recommend checking out Gintama. It has that same oddball style of humour.

I hated the anime, fuck it was obnoxious. The manga was much better in my opinion. Either way, I only watched it for Pedro- he was hilarious.

As for the rest of the series, eh, it was okay. Not one of my favorites or anything but it's still a good watch.
