What's your age?
22
Do you create things on the computer that you think others would be interested in seeing, playing, reading or listening to? If so, what?
I like to put together videogames and I like to write, although I'm pretty bad at both! I'd like to get good enough to reasonably entertain.
Theoretically, when looking for something in terms of entertainment or art, what would you be most likely to type into a search engine? What ENTERTAINS you online?
I don't care. It just has to be interesting to me. That's vague, I know. For instance, I spent a lot of time watching different videos of that Human Tetris thing I found out about through GW a few days ago. I'll go from link to link; I rarely use search engines for anything but a functional purpose (i.e. how to fix a problem)
If you were SITE AND COMMUNITY admin for a day and wanted to cater to your own interests, what FEATURES would you add to GW? Is it missing anything you would like, or would you change anything about it?
I'd like to see some creative blogs. What is [insert user here] working on, what's their motivation, how do they do what they do? It could be anything from game making to the process behind a drawing to assembling a picnic table. Generally, I'm more interested in the process and nuances of creation rather than the medium. The technical shit, if you will. This is kind of already being done with Community Staff, but I'd expand it to any user who wanted it.
In the same vein, what would you remove from GW and why? Are there any features here you could do without, or feel are unnecessary?
I could live without Happy Zoo and Premium.
In terms of creativity, how many teams or groups are you currently in online?
I am currently involved with one game development team.
What do you like the most in a game?
Sharp, believable writing and polished, weighty gameplay that forces me to think on my feet.
Have you ever finished a production, such as a game, movie or an album? Have you ever followed a creative project from beginning to end? If so, how many and what were they?
I have not personally produced anything that could be considered finished. At the same time, I'm watching one of my favorite projects snowball into greatness: John Dies at the End, by David Wong, which is now being made into a movie by the guy who directed Bubba Ho-Tep. I'm also waiting for Project Exile, which is pretty close to an indie project even though it got a publisher a while ago, to come out for NDS.
....how much do you hate gw
gw is like rat poison down my throat
