Halle Berry is set to have a serious identity crisis on her next film, a psychological drama entitled Frankie and Alice.

According to Variety, the X-Men star will play a woman with multiple personality disorder, but rather than having a nice, pleasant alter-personality, she finds herself regularly turning into a Caucasian racist.

There's no word on a start date yet, but if you are craving a Berry fix, the actress several projects in various states of pre-production, including legal flick Tulia and political drama Class Act.

This makes me think of the episode of Chapelle's Show where Dave played a "black white supremacist."

Sounds like an interesting idea.. I wonder how this will be pulled off?

she is black but apparently looks white enough to play a white person. somewhere out there there has to be a white guy who looks black enough to play a black person.

ps before you warn me, that's pretty much the most thoughtful thing you can say about a 2 hour long dave chappelle sketch without dave chappelle.

Chef, Anthony Hopkins played a black dude in The Human Stain. Like actual African American, but he didn't look a thing like it. Halle Berry isn't white in this movie. She's just insane and thinks she is white... I think.

Also, concerning this movie... I don't think it can be pulled off and Halle Berry has starred in some stinkers! I think this will be another one!

she isn't playing a white person. her character has multiple personality disorder, and one of her personalities is a white racist. so yea its not as amazing as it is made out to be.

Robert Downy Jr. (Iron Man dude) is supposed to play a black in "Tropic Thunder" using makeup. I've seen the pictures and he does look black. A group of African-Americans have already seen the movie, and even they say he acts black. It's a comedy.

I cant stop laughing haha. Halle Berry is an alright actress, and that was strange how they called her the "X-Men Star" when she's been in a lot better movies. I think it's a good enough concept to make a movie from, but still could fuck it up so easily.

halle is mixed so playing a white woman isn't that difficult for her. still, this shit can't be serious and if i see it in theaters i will quote chapelle to no end.

also "minorities" (american definition: anyone who is not white) have dominant features. a mixed child will always carry the most features of the non-white parent and i know this because i have a phd in genetics if you want to see it it's at my house so you'll have to come here first

When I saw the title I thought it was weird because she isn't SCANDINAVIAN WHITE but now that I read that it is just an alter ego it makes sense.

There is no one way mixed kids look, personally me and my brothers are some where in the middle(my half Mexican niece and nephew have darker skin then me, of course i'm a pasty shut-in who never gets any sun), but my best friend back in middle school just looked black.
