That's right, folks. Swash-buckling, Frenchie hatin' Richard Sharpe is back in action for another TV Movie! This time it's "Sharpe's Peril". Good to see Sean Bean is still doing them. Got to be one of the strongest TV Movie series ever done. This time he's taking on some East India bandits and it looks like he's on the hunt for wife number...4 is it?

Harper and his scatter gun are back too.

... Sharpe, the role Sean Bean is most famous for (or used to be at least). Interesting, I liked the series.

Here's some movie trivia for you: Sean Bean has a habit of saying the word "sharp" in his movies as a reference to "Richard Sharpe". In lord of the rings for instance he says "Still sharp" when he cuts his finger on a sword.
Ock ock, Ack ack!
Beware of the cursed monkey spit!

Yeah, I noticed that. :P It's definitely he most famous role. It's great that he keeps returning to it, since he acknowledges that it made his career.

Hunter, I doubt it's a big thing out of the UK (or at least in the USA).

I only saw the Sharpe series recently (as in maybe last 6 months?) and my god..it blew me away. It's cheap, badly acted, reuses the same set over and over - and yet it's fantastic. Sean Bean is incredible in it, and Harper (I don't know the actor) is great too. Maybe a movie with a -good- budget could absolutely blow us away.

...must....watch...

Daragh O'Malley plays Patrick Harper, and he hasn't really been in much of note other than Sharpe. He did provide a voice for Grim Fandango, however!
