Okay so, some japanese dudes decided to make a giant robot pc game similar to the gundam games on ps2. It's pretty good actually for a freeware game, though it has its flaws, for example all of the mechs are pretty gay and they are obviously based on gundam seed/destiny mobile suits. Also they thought it would be mad fun to name the game and the mechs after operation systems like windows xp, millenium, vista, linux etc. They were wrong.

controlling your mech is a bit hard at the beginning but you'll get used to it soon. Also, you can make your own pilot with pictures and phrases and everything if you have time for that.

Holy shit.  I am so downloading this right now.  I think I almost had a Gundam euphoria all over again.  I'll totally stomp you online, Kassey.  Well, if I ever get any good, haha.

I think the reason they're naming them after OS's is because "GUNDAM" was an OS in the Cosmic Era.  Since they're basically just SEED models, why not name them after an OS already on the market?  A little gay, but I think it's kind of clever.

And in the time it took me to write this post, I have finished downloading it and can now install and start getting uber.

At first I had the same feeling and removed the whole thing but next time I gave it another chance and it's not that bad.

I've played this game a bit, and it's pretty fun. So far I prefer the ranged-only guy, the Whistler I think.
